How to transfer a .uk or .co.uk domain to Hostico?

Transferring a .uk / .co.uk domain to Hostico involves two simple steps. The procedure is structured for better clarity in the order of executing the steps:

1. The client places a transfer order for a domain from the Hostico shopping cart, without completing the EPP code. After processing the order and paying the pro forma invoice, Hostico's sales operators will initiate the transfer procedure for the requested domain.

Note: .uk and .co.uk domains do not use EPP code for transfer. During the process, the validity period of the domain remains unchanged, retaining the same expiration date.

2. After Hostico initiates the transfer, the client must request the current registrar to update the IPS TAG of the domain to the value “REGISTRAR-EU”.

• If the IPS TAG change is made before Hostico initiates the transfer, the procedure will not be valid and the domain will not be transferred.
• After the IPS TAG has been updated correctly and the payment confirmed, the transfer is finalized, and the domain becomes manageable from the Hostico account.

Following the domain transfer, it will be renewed for 1 year based on the issued invoice.
